Actor and casting director Rajesh Madhavan is all set to don the director’s cap with the upcoming feature film ‘Pennum Porattum’. The film was announced in 2022, and it finally went on floors on Saturday, February 10 in Kollemcode. The film was officially launched with a muhurat puja and switch-on ceremony.
‘Pennum Porattum’ will feature debutant actors in the lead as well as supporting roles. The upcoming film is touted to be a fantasy entertainer. Ravisankar, who has previously scripted Manju Warrier-Rima Kallingal’s ‘Rani Padmi’ and Mammootty’s ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ is crafting the script for ‘Pennum Porattum’. The shoot is progressing in Kollamcode and neighbouring places.
On the technical front, the cinematography is done by Sabin Uralikandy, and Chaman Chacko is the editor. The music is composed by Dawn Vincent. The art department is handled by Rakhil.
Rajesh Madhavan had launched the title poster of ‘Pennum Porattum’, and it featured a woman, peeping through the window. One can also see shadows of some people on the wall, apparently fighting.
Meanwhile, on the personal front, Rajesh Madhavan is also getting hitched. He is set to tie the knot with Deepthi Karat, who has worked as an associate director for his film 'Nna Thaan Case Kodu’.
