The film revolved around Seban (Asif Ali) and Angel (Bhavana) and their friends. Angel and Seban are great friends and discover a romantic relationship very late. The movie picks its pace when the two decides to elope, with the help of their friends.
Asif Ali and Bhavana shared a great bond on-screen. Actors Baburaj, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, and Archana Kavi played the friends of Angel and Seban in the film, while Lal, Suresh Krishna, and Assim Jamal roped in the roles of Angel’s brothers.
The movie attracted a lot of attention from youngsters as it was all about friendship and love. ‘Honey Bee’ also made some great numbers in the box office collection, which apparently motivated the makers for a sequel.
The sequel, ‘Honey Bee 2: Celebrations’ too was directed by Lal Jr. and the film too managed to entertain the folks and it was followed by ‘

Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhavana’s last outing was ‘Inspector Vikram’ a Kannada film. Prajwal Devaraj played the titular, while Bhavana essayed the leading lady in the film. Bhavana has some interesting movies like ‘Bhajarangi 2’, ‘Govinda Govinda’, and ‘Shri Krishna@gmail.com’ in the pipeline.
