Mera Naam Shaji second song, Marhaba, launched

The second song of the film Mera Naam Shaji was launched today and it is a Qawali style rendition, with a mix of Hindi and Malayalam lyrics. Titled ‘Marhaba’, the song is filmed around a hotel poolside with the Qawali singers entertaining guests. The songs of the films are composed by Emil Muhammed, Javed Ali and the film’s director Nadirshah.
The first song, ‘Manasukulla’, which is a romantic number sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Ranjith, has received nearly 9 lakh hits within a week of being launched.That song has a mix of Tamil and Malayalam lyrics. The film is a family entertainer with three Shaji characters, played by Asif Ali, Biju Menon and Baiju.
