Mammootty pens heartfelt note for Mohanlal’s ‘Barroz’: ‘Wishing my beloved Lal all the best’

Mohanlal is literally serving the perfect Christmas treat for the fans and movie buffs with the release of his directorial debut film ‘Barroz’ on the special day. Now, the superstar Mammootty has given a shoutout to Mohanlal’s film by saying that the latter’s experience in the film field will shine through.


Taking to his official Twitter handle, Mammootty penned a Tweet that read, “ഇത്ര കാലം അഭിനയ സിദ്ധി കൊണ്ട് നമ്മളെ ത്രസ്സിപ്പിക്കുകയും, അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്ത മോഹൻലാലിന്റെ ആദ്യ സിനിമ സംവിധാന സംരംഭമാണ് ‘ബറോസ് ’ ഇക്കാലമത്രയും അദ്ദേഹം നേടിയ അറിവും പരിചയവും ഈ സിനിമക്ക് ഉതകുമെന്ന് എനിക്കുറപ്പുണ്ട്. എന്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ലാലിന് വിജയാശംസകൾ നേരുന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥനകളോടെ സസ്നേഹം, which translates, “‘Barroz’ is the first directorial venture of Mohanlal, who has been thrilling and surprising us with his acting prowess for so long. I am confident that the knowledge and experience he has gained over the years will benefit this film. Wishing my beloved Lal all the best with prayers and love."

Directed by Mohanlal, ‘Barroz’ is expected to entertain the family audiences. The movie will be hitting the big screens in 3D. After the first preview shows for the movie which was held recently, the responses were highly positive. The screening was attended by actress Rohini, Pranav Mohanlal, Vismaya, Maniratnam, Vijay Sethupathi and many others.


Based on a story by the ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ fame Jijo Punnoose, ‘Barroz’ has Mark Kilian and Lydian Nadhaswaram as the music composers.
