The Malayalam film industry has seen the rise and fall of several actors who unfortunately faded away from the silver screens as time passed. The legends Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Suresh Gopi have always been consistent in keeping up their stardom over years. Movie buffs and fans go frenzy whenever these three legends come under one roof both on-screen and off-screen. Mollywood superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty attended the wedding function of their bestie, Suresh Gopi, and nevertheless to say, the trio looked dapper and all delightful in this click. When Mammootty looked stylish wearing a denim style shirt and pants, Mohanlal decided to go traditional as he was seen clad in a Kerala style Mundu and shirt. Suresh Gopi married the love of his life, Radhika Nair, on 8 February 1990.

This recent click of the superstars was from the birthday bash of the actor Suresh Gopi. Suresh Gopi turned 64 on the last day and the association AMMA celebrated the superstar's birthday with all its glory. Suresh Gopi shared this birthday click with his besties Mohanlal and Mammootty, via his official Instagram handle and soon the post was flooded with comments from netizens who were all enthralled at seeing the three legends of the Malayalam film industry together.

Although the actors Suresh Gopi, Mammootty, and Mohanlal have appeared together in small roles in old movies, there hasn’t been any movie, other than ‘Twenty- Twenty’, where the three legends performed lead roles. Popular late writer Dennis Joseph had a dream to cast the three legendary actors for a movie titled ‘Venmegha Hamsam’. The movie got shelved due to the Gulf War. Dennis Joseph also planned to include the actors Suhasini and Sumalatha for his dream project ‘Venmegha Hamsam’.
