HBD Saniya Iyappan: A look into the best performances of the actress

Saniya Iyappan made her acting debut as a child artist for the Mammootty starrer film ‘Balyakalasakhi’ which was based on the most celebrated novels of the veteran writer Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. Saniya Iyappan played the character Suhara in the film which was directed by Pramod Payyanur. Although the film got many mixed opinions from the audience, Saniya Iyappan’s performance got wide recognition.

Dijo Jose Antony’s directorial debut ‘Queen’ was the film that gave the actress Saniya Iyappan much recognition from the audience. The college drama film follows the story of a girl named Chinnu who joins the Mechanical batch in an engineering college that consists of boys only. The lead character was played by Saniya Iyyappan and the actress literally stole everyone’s hearts with her charming and energetic performance.

Saniya Iyappan’s next notable role was in Prithviraj Sukumaran’s directorial debut film ‘Lucifer’. The actress played a character named Jhanvi in the film that has a very serious undertone in her character design. Saniya Iyappan played the character flawlessly and in a very convincing way and could be even said as one of the best performances of the actress.

Saniya Iyappan played the mysterious character Beatrice in the Sooraj Thomas’ directorial venture ‘Krishnankutty Pani Thudangi’. There were several bold scenes in the film that Saniya Iyappan effortlessly executed without losing the emotional core of the character. The Horror thriller film was written by Madhusoodanan Anand and had the actor Vishnu Unnikrishnan in the lead role as the character named Unnikannan.
