Vineeth Sreenivasan is celebrating his 34th birthday today and we are here to laud his talent. He marked his entry in films as a playback singer with 2003 movie 'Kilichundan Mampazham'. After five years Vineeth made his acting debut and soon after marked his directorial debut with 'Malarvaadi Arts Club'. The actor stepped into production with 'Anandam'. Donning many hats, here’s taking a look at Vineeth Sreenivasan’s glorious career:

​Playback singer

Vineeth Sreenivasan stepped into showbiz by crooning ‘Kasavinte Thattamittu’ song. The Mohanlal starrer was well received and fans took note of the new singer. Thanks to the popularity of ‘Kasavinte Thattamittu’, Vineeth went on to sing in several other films and became a known face in the industry. Vineeth's career touched a peak when he crooned for Lal Jose’s 'Classmates'. The song ‘Ente Khalbile’ set a new trend and became a hit in colleges. Songs like ‘Tharaka Malarukal’ and ‘Mambullikaavil’ added to his popularity. Vineeth also sang songs for his directorial 'Thattathin Marayathu', also his collaboration with Shaan Rahman worked very well in ‘Entammede Jimikki Kammal’.

​Ace actor

Soon after marking his space in playback singing, Vineeth tried his luck in acting. Making his debut with 'Cycle', Vineeth proved that he is a talent powerhouse. Later on, with films like 'Traffic' and 'Chappa Kurishu', Vineeth proved that he was born to be in front of the camera. Some of the notable performances of Vinneth include films like 'Oru Vadakkan Selfie', 'Kunjiramayanam', 'Aby' and 'Thanneer Mathan Dinangal'.

Perfectionist director

How could an actor-director-scriptwriter's son not excel in filmmaking! 'Malarvaadi Arts Club' marked Vineeth Sreenivasan’s debut as a director. Casting a bunch of newcomers, the movie became a huge hit and Vineeth went on to call the shots for several other ventures. His musical film 'Thattathin Marayath' marked the rise of actor Nivin Pauly. Within a year of 'Thattathin Marayath', Vineeth directed 'Thira'. Starring Shobana and Dhyan Sreenivasan, 'Thira' remains to be the best directorial of Vineeth. From directing legendary actor Shobana to introducing his brother Dhyan, Vineeth Sreenivasan has worked very well as a director.

Entertaining producer

Vineeth belongs to the industry and very well understands the struggles of newcomers. So, when he heard a good script by a bunch of ambitious youngsters, Vineeth decided to produce the movie. He turned producer with 2016 release 'Anandam'. The movie narrated the story of a group of engineering students going on a college tour. ‘Anandam’ became a huge hit and Vineeth has recently announced to produce another film, 'Helen' which stars 'Kumbalangi Nights' fame Anna Ben.
