Durga Krishna tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend and businessman Arjun Ravindran. The couple got hitched in a close-knit ceremony held at Guruvayoor temple. Durga Krishna and Arjun Ravindran had apparently met 5 years ago, while she was attending an acting seminar in Kochi.

Mollywood witnessed a second wedding this week as actor-dancer Utthara Unni tied the knot with Nithesh Nair, a Mangalore-based businessman on April 5. The couple entered wedlock following Hindu traditions with the blessings of their immediate family and friends. Utthara recently shared that the wedding was planned on the same day last year, however was postponed due to the pandemic.

The first teaser of Dulquer Salmaan’s forthcoming film ‘Salute’ was launched this week. The film is directed by Rosshan Andrrews. Dulquer Salmaan plays SI Aravind Karunakaran in the film and the first look captured him stylishly stepping out of a police jeep. The teaser garnered a whole lot of attention from fans and Dulquer Salmaan made headlines for all the right reasons.

Aishwarya Lekshmi tested positive for COVID-19 this week. She shared the same through her social media handle. The actress revealed that she had mild symptoms, which included throat pain and slight fever. Revealing her diagnosis, Aishwarya had shared, "I wore masks, sanitized, maintained social distancing, and did everything else that came recommended.. but at some point, I grew a tiny bit tired of how this was affecting my “normal life”... and took it easy."

Actor – writer P Balachandran passed away on April 5. He was reportedly undergoing treatment since the past eight months and breathed his last at his residence in Vaikom on Monday morning. He had penned the script for movies like ‘Ulladakkam’, ‘Pavithram’, ‘Agnidevan’, ‘Punaradhivasam’ and ‘Kammatti Paadam’ among others. His last outing was ‘One’. P Balachandran is survived by his wife Sreelatha and two children, Sreekanth and Parvathy.
