Blessy’s directorial venture ‘Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life’ starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Amala Paul in main roles has completed a successful two weeks in theaters. The film opened with Rs 7.6 crore on the first day in India.
According to sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 1.65 crore on the 16th day of its release in India, bringing the current box office number to Rs 69.80 crore. The occupancy rate for the film on the same day was 53.22 percent. The film had a theatrical release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada on March 28.
Directed by Blessy, ‘Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life’ is an adaptation of the Malayalam bestseller ‘Aadujeevitham’ by Benyamin. It tells the real-life story of a Malayali who endured slavery in the deserts of Saudi Arabia.
The movie also stars KR Gokul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Shobha Mohan in key roles. AR Rahman is the music director of the film, while Resul Pookutty handles sound design.
