7 interesting facts about ‘Classmates’ actress Radhika that you may not know

The movie ‘Classmates’ would easily summon up the face of actress Radhika in a cinephile’s mind. The beauty who ventured into Malayalam cinema as a child actor with ‘Vietnam Colony’ has managed to charm the movie-lovers even while she grew up into a young woman. Radhika has many films to her credit, including ‘Changathipoocha’, ‘Minnaminnikoottam’, and ‘Twenty-20’, among others, but she is always identified as the ‘Classmates’ star as her enthralling performance won hearts.

Radhika has settled down in Dubai with her family and has been away from the limelight following her wedding, but the diva keeps her fans updated about her whereabouts. In a recent social media interaction, the beauty revealed a few interesting facts about her.

In a career spanning 13 years, Radhika has worked in over 20 movies. She has worked with some of the A-listers in the industry including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Dileep, and Prithviraj Sukumaran among others. During the social media interaction, when Radhika was asked about her favourite actors from Malayalam she picked Mohanlal and Mammootty. Her debut was with Mohanlal starrer ‘Vietnam Colony’, which was released in 1992. And she was a child actor then! Radhika has also worked with Mammootty in many movies like 'Thaskara Veeran', 'Mission 90 Days and ‘Daddy Cool’.

A few fans of the actress were also curious to know about the dish she likes most from Dubai. Radhika shared that she loved ‘Kanafeh'. It is a dessert made with shredded filo pastry or semolina dough soaked in sugar syrup. The dish is a delicacy of the Middle East and it is no wonder that Radhika fell in love with the dessert. The actress also added she loves the dessert, although she doesn’t have a sweet tooth.
