A Mohanlal movie is always special for the Keralite cinephiles and the excitement doubles when he associates with the ‘Lucifer’ director Prithviraj Sukumaran. Prithviraj Sukumaran has announced his second directorial ‘Bro Daddy’ lately and it has been the talk of the town ever since then. The actor who ventured into filmmaking in 2019 with ‘Lucifer’ has already proved his prowess as a filmmaker and has also made the film industry proud with the business his film could bring.
From Prithviraj Sukumaran becoming the captain of the ship to Mohanlal headlining the project with a stellar ensemble, everything about ‘Bro Daddy’ is thrilling.
As per the makers, ‘Bro Daddy’ is expected to go on floors soon and here are a few interesting things about the film you should know.

There is no wonder why Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas chose to bankroll Prithviraj Sukumaran’s second film ‘Bro Daddy’. How could a producer ever say no to a director, who has made a blockbuster out of his debut film? Prithviraj Sukumaran debuted as a director with ‘Lucifer’ and the film turned out to be one of the most commercially successful films in M-Town. The actor-turned-director was able to win the love of not just Keralites but cinephiles across the nation. And he is certain to repeat the same for the upcoming film ‘Bro Daddy’.

Mohanlal starrer
Prithviraj Sukumaran has admitted that he is a huge admirer of the Complete Actor - Mohanlal! Well, how can’t he be? Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal have a great on and offscreen chemistry and that obviously favours when the duo reunites. And Prithviraj has already proved that he could direct Mohanlal well, through ‘Lucifer’ and when the dynamic duo are teaming again, all eyes are on the film.

Stellar cast
Similar to his first, Prithviraj Sukumaran has brought a stellar cast for ‘Bro Daddy’. Mohanlal will be playing the lead and Prithviraj Sukumaran has roped in to play a pivotal character in the film. The movie has a talented bunch of actors including Meena, Lalu Alex, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Murali Gopi, Kaniha, and Soubin Shahir. Mohanlal-Meena combination has always churned out hits, case in point - Drishyam and apparently the audience could see some chemistry in ‘Bro Daddy’ too!

Fun script
‘Bro Daddy’ - the title of the film itself suggests lots of fun. Prithviraj Sukumaran has confirmed that the upcoming film is a fun family drama. And when a great team is joining hands, the cinephiles could absolutely expect a great movie in the cinemas. The film is scripted by Sreejith N and Bibin Maleikal. Speaking about the script, Prithviraj Sukumaran has earlier shared, “A script that we hope will become a film that makes you smile, laugh, and want to revisit. I guess it’s about time we all got a happy film.”

Talented crew
To make a good film, one needs a talented technical crew and Prithviraj Sukumaran knows it better than anyone. Abhinandan Ramanujam, who has wielded the lens for movies like ‘Amen’, ‘Nine’ and ‘Chathurmugham’ among others has roped in as the cinematographer. Ace music composer Deepak Dev will be composing the music for the film and Akhilesh Mohan is the editor. And Gokuldas is in charge of the art department.
