A look inside the green room

A contemporary play, set in urban India, The Green Room explores the insecurities of modern day youth in the face of conflicting choices. The story unravels through the eyes of Anamika, a theatre artiste caught between the demons of the past and the future. Even amidst overwhelming appreciation, she feels trapped in a little green room.
Though enticed by popularity and fame, her heart longs for truthful self-expression.When her inner conflict boils over into her personal life, her choices will determine the very person and the kind of artist, that she will likely turn out to be.
The Green Room is written by Aditya Sudarshan and directed by Vijay S. The artists include Bindu Ravishankar, Prasanna Kumar Srinivasan, Shakti Singh Rana, Pranav Patadiya, Neeraja M Rajeev, Suhit and Vishal Shah.
The play will be staged on April 25 (8 pm) at Jagriti Theatre, Whitefield.
