The five most promising heroes

Currently, with the new wave of cinema, there are a lot of new faces that have been introduced in cinema in the past two-three years. Sandalwood has seen some promising talent on the big screen. We give you our pick of five most promising heroes. These boys have made that initial mark and we believe they are faces to watch out for.

Suraj Gowda
A model and pageant winner, Suraj hails from Mysuru. He debuted with the moderately successful Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole this year. The film was produced by brothers Darshan and Dinakar Thoogudeepa. Suraj is next doing Pradesha Samachara and has Kahi up for release.

Dhananjaya
His filmography would make any aspirant jealous. After a launch by Guruprasad, Dhananjaya has worked with some formidable names - AP Arjun, Preetham Gubbi, Pavan Wadeyar and TS Nagabharana. With Allamma, Badmaash and Eradane Sala slated for release, he's all set to work with Suri.

Praveen Tej
While may have debuted as a teen in Jolly Days, his actual launch was this year's Simpallag Innondh Love Story. The SuNi film gave him a new lease of life. Praveen's antics and comic timing won him fans. He's already working on two films - 5G and BMW.

Nirup Bhandari
This software engineer made his debut with last year's smash hit RangiTaranga. His role as AnAshKu, the writer with a lost identity, won his fans. The actor waited for a year since his debut to choose his second and didn't jump instantly. He's now working in Rajaratha.

Gurunandan
While he debuted a few years ago in Cyber Yugadol, his second innings - First Rank Raju - brought him back with a bang. He has since bagged a few more projects. While he is nearly done with K Manju's Smile Please, he will begin Raju RangiTaranga soon. He's also bagged Raghuram's Missing Boy.
