Samantha

A bonafide superstar, Samantha has been garnering love and attention from a nationwide audience over the past few months. Her crossover project 'Family Man 2' revealed her to be a highly viable actor and with Kannada Film Industry shining bright on the entertainment map, one would reckon that her debut seems warranted. Fingers crossed!

Sai Pallavi

Another self-made superstar who has risen to the top only through sheer talent and grace, Sai Pallavi's inclusion in the Sandalwood repertoire will be a huge boost to a thriving industry. Interestingly, director MansoRe is said to have approached her for a political thriller which is expected to materialize soon.

Kajal Agarwal

The Mumbai girl Kajal began her acting career on a slightly dull note in Bollywood but her decision to try things out down South paid rich dividends soon after. It was the Telugu Film Industry that did the trick for her and the instant success brought along many exciting opportunities in Tamil as well, with sporadic opportunities in Hindi to add to that. However, one wonders why she didn't foray into Kannada cinema when many of her contemporaries did - considering the leaps that the Kannada Film Industry has taken over the past couple of years, Kajal's entry may just be around the corner.

Keerthy Suresh

The 'Mahanati' actress is currently one among the top-billed with a slew of projects in all the South Indian languages, except Kannada! One would say that her debut in Kannada is warranted for this reason alone but in all seriousness, Keerthy Suresh is too bright a talent to be missed out and the audience would gladly accept her, should she choose to act in a Kannada film.

Pooja Hegde

Born to a Tulu-speaking family in Mumbai, Pooja Hegde is easily one of the most sought-after actresses working in South India today. With the Telugu Film Industry becoming her home ground and a foot in the door with respect to Bollywood, Pooja Hegde will be a highly valued actor in Kannada too as many exciting opportunities await her.
