These actors have earned a star status on their own accords as they forge on with the best offers

The Kannada Film Industry has always been a prominent budding space for female actors. Right from the time of its inception, the region has offered female superstars who have matched toe-to-toe with their male counterparts and sustained their fame for decades together. Kalpana and Aarathi, through their highly successful collaborations with Puttanna Kanagal, ruled the '70s as the box-office queens who also garnered equal critical praise. Umashree, despite being caricatured in most of her films, was the main draw for the audience in the '80s and '90s while actors like Malashri, Sudha Rani, and Prema commanded respectable budgets and remunerations during the time. Cut to 2021 and the same phenomenon still prevails as a number of actresses today enjoy similar stardom by virtue of their work and social media presence. From Rachita Ram to Nishvika Naidu, the list boasts of many worthy names to qualify as the top talents of today's Sandalwood.

Also, Rachita will be headlining many of these projects which proves that she is the current age's bonafide superstar who can give the male stars an easy run for their money.

Although Nishvika is still fairly young in her acting career, the kind of offers she is attracting does reveal that she is very much in the reckoning. Have made her debut in 2018 with 'Vaasu Naan Pakka Commercial', Nishvika has an array of exciting projects in the offing. While she plays a visually challenged teacher in 'Sakath', the film 'Guru Shishyaru' will see her in the role of a village belle - alongside, there's Yogaraj Bhat's 'Gaalipata 2' in the making and a secret Darling Krishna project too brewing on the side.
