In a closed-knit affair, select Sandalwood stars were found in attendance
Kannada filmmaker Chethan Kumar, who is popular for films like 'Bharaate' and 'Bahaddur', began a new chapter of his life as he tied the wedding knot with IT professional Manasa on Sunday, June 14th. In an intimate, low-key ceremony that took place near Mysuru, the wedding ceremony took place with strict adherence to the lockdown rules wherein only the closest family and friends were present. Along with that, few of Chethan Kumar's key friends from within the industry too made sure to drop by and congratulate the couple on the big day.

Dhruva Sarja with wife Prerana Shankar
One of Chethan Kumar's prime collaborators Dhruva Sarja made sure to not give his 'Bharjari' director's special day a miss. The superstar actor attended the event with his wife Prerana Shankar with the couple posing for a nice click along with the newlyweds. Both 'Bahaddur' and 'Bharaate' being instrumental successes in Dhruva Sarja's career who recently secured a massive hit in 'Pogaru'.

Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar
Chethan Kumar's 'James' actor Puneeth Rajkumar made a brief but pleasant appearance at the ceremony. A high-octane, globe trotter film, 'James' is currently under production as the makers look forward to the lockdown restrictions getting relaxed so as to wrap up the shoot. The film also includes Priya Anand and Anu Prabhakar.

Fellow filmmaker A.P. Arjun with actor Viraat
Chethan Kumar's contemporary, A.P. Arjun too ensured that his close friend's big day wasn't missed. The 'Addhuri' and 'Kiss' filmmaker was seen at the event along with young actor Viraat and a few others as they took part in the nuptial customs along with the couple.

'Madhagaja' filmmaker S. Mahesh Kumar
Another fellow filmmaker S. Mahesh Kumar graced the occasion and posed for a photograph with the married couple. Mahesh Kumar, just as Chethan Kumar, is currently helming one of the most-awaited films, 'Madhgaja', and is currently waiting out the lockdown period to quickly begin work on the pending portion of the film. 'Madhagaja' stars Srii Murali, Jagapathi Babu, Ashika Ranganath, and other.
