With his hugely awaited 'K.G.F: Chapter 2' having its teaser release, fans and admirers across the country have more than enough reasons to celebrate the day, and social media is practically submerged currently with posts regarding the video. Shah Rukh Khan, an inspiration

Yash has cited Hindi Cinema's Baadshah, Shah Rukh Khan, as someone to look up to. Confessing that the senior actor is a clear cut inspiration and a "genius" in many regards, Yash spoke admiringly and acknowledged Shah Rukh Khan's wit and sharpness.

Puneeth is M.J, Sudeep would be 'D.T.S', and Upendra the 'Brainy'

During his promotional tour for 'K.G.F: Chapter 1', Yash was implored to give nicknames to his Sandalwood colleagues and he has pretty interesting titles for some of them. He decided on calling Puneeth Rajkumar M.J. for his incredible dancing skills, Sudeep would be 'D.T.S' - short for Digital Theatre Systems as the actor carries a booming voice resembling the one in cinema halls- and Uppi is the "genius" or the brainy.

Favourite Bollywood Director - Rajkumar Hirani

Yash has repeatedly spoken of his admiration for the '3 Idiots' director and has confessed that he loves the scripts that Rajkumar Hirani works with. The fact that his films evoke real emotions in the audiences and his capacity to maintain the commercial aspect at the same time, has impressed Yash mightily. He has also spoken about Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju' and claimed that be a film he really appreciates.

Would love to make my Bollywood debut with Deepika Padukone

Yash, being the bona fide superstar of Southern Cinema, has been often asked about his Bollywood plans. During one such interview, Yash confessed that he would like to make his Bollywood, if it happens ever, with none other than Deepika Padukone. Citing that they share the Bengaluru connection, Yash revealed that it would perhaps be easier to make his grand debut alongside Deepika. Should these plans materialize, it would certainly one to watch-out for.

Naveen Kumar Gowda, Who?

In another interview, when asked how he would react to his birth name (Naveen Kumar Gowda) now, Yash cheekily replied that he wouldn't respond at all! "I would probably say "Who is that?" said Yash with a grin on his face as he reckons that it's been ages since he's been addressed with that name.

Wish to work alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui

In another interview with an online entity, Yash showed great regard for one of Hindi cinema's finest, Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Professing his fondness for the latter's incredible talent, Yash declared that Nawaz is one Bollywood actor he would love to work with. If, by any possible means, the two can collaborate on a project together, it will be one of the most fascinating cinematic experiences.

The Most Beautiful Actress of All Time - Bharathi Vishnuvardhan

While at a big press conference, Yash took the centre stage and spoke flatteringly of the yesteryear actors Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, who was present on the dais along with a bunch of other celebrities. Addressing her as Bharathi Amma, Yash declared that he finds Bharathi Vishnuvardhan to be the most talented and beautiful. "Perhaps in the entire country (sic)," said Yash to a cheering audience and showed his admiration for the actress.

Favorite Co-star - Amulya

When cajoled to reveal his favorite co-star, apart from his real-life partner Radhika Pandit, Yash chose to name Amulya during a promotional interview. Yash and Amulya were paired together in 'Gajakesari' and the film, not contrary to expectations, was a major commercial success.
