It is easy to make someone cry but it is equally hard to make someone laugh and comedians weigh this responsibility of making people smile, There are very few actors who are comedians and later emerged as a leading hero in the film. Dwarakish

Dwarakish is popularly known as ‘Kulla’ in Kannada film industry. He came into the industry as a producer and produced his first movie ‘Mamateya Bandhana’ in 1966, and he became a director in 1985 for the movie ‘Nee Bareda Kadambari’. Later down in the years he started appearing on the screen as a comedian, played next to Dr Rajkumar as a comedian. He started playing the lead role in the movie, he ‘mostly played to comic action roles in the movies. Dwarakish has a credit of shooting the first Kannada movie abroad

Jaggesh

Jaggesh is called as ‘Navarasa Nayaka’ in Sandalwood. ‘Navarasa’ means 9 emotions in a human. Jaggesh was one of the actors in Sandalwood who can produce different shades in acting. Jaggesh who entered the film industry as an assistant director made his debut as a comedian in the year 1982 with the movie ‘Ibbani Karagithu’. He played a comedy negative role which made him a unique actor in Kannada film industry. Jaggesh played a negative role in the movie super hit movies like Sangliyana, Kempu Gulabi, Kalla Malla and many other movies. In the year 1992 Jaggesh appeared as a hero from the movie 'Bhanda Nanna Ganda' and in the same year he acted in the movie ‘Tharle Nan Maga’ both were the biggest hit and he continued to be a hero from then.

Ganesh

Ganesh who started his career as an anchor in a small screen comedy show titled, ‘Comedy Time’. He later worked with B. Suresha for his film Tapori. Later he played comedy and supporting roles. His first debut movie as a hero was Chellata and his next movie Mungaru Male which gained him a huge success in his career. Later he made many movies like Hudugaata, Gaalipata, Bombaat, Shyloo, Mungaru Male 2, Chamak and other movies. Now, he is a superstar in the Kannada film industry.

Komal

Komal was the best comedian in Sandalwood, he also played comic lead roles in the movies. Komal made his debut from the movie ‘Super nan Maga’ in 1992. He acted in more than 100 movies as a comedian and stood as a Sandalwood number one comedian. Later, in 2009 he played the lead role in the movie ‘Chamkaisi Chindi Udais’.

Sharan

Sharan played the best comic and supporting roles in Kannada movies. Sharan made his debut from the movie ‘Prema Prema Prema’ and acted in 99 movies as a comedian and supporting role. He made his debut as a lead role in his 100th movie ‘Rambo’ in 2012 and continued to play the lead roles. He is the first actor in India to play a duel role in three movies.
