Harish Raj strongly believes in god and is driven by his faith. This was also why he decided to make the movie Shree Sathyanarayana, and Harish says that there were many instances of divine intervention throughout the shoot of the film. 'There is a scene in which I am supposed to throw an invitation card for the inauguration of my business venture. It didn't matter what card it was, as the camera does not focus on it.
So, I thought of taking an old invite from home to the location, but I forgot to do so. Since we were shooting in the city, I asked my art assistant to borrow an invite from any of the nearby houses. We were all stunned when we saw the card ' it was a wedding invite and the bridegroom's name was Sathyanarayana,' he says.
That wasn't the only such incident. The team also shot at the Sai Baba temple in RT Nagar, and that was to be veteran actor Ramkrishna's last day of shoot. 'I handed over his remaining payment after we canned the shot. Ramkrishna sir had a very different expression and I was wondering what was wrong. It was then that he told me that he was earlier invited to the same temple as a guest for an event, for which he couldn't go. Incidentally, he was offered the same amount that I gave him that day for the event. He told me that the amount that he had rejected earlier came back to him through me,' says Harish, adding, 'There has been some kind of divine intervention throughout the shooting of this film. People who were not available for a particular date have somehow been able to turn up. It has just affirmed my belief that if you really want something, and you have faith in god, it will definitely be realized.'
