With K-pop band, BTS dominating the world of music with their enigmatic music, popular artists like Justin Beiber, Lizzo, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and others have been facing tough competition. Apart from the Bangtan Boys, other K-pop groups like BLACKPINK and EXO have been climbing up the music charts. Check out the list here:

BTS

The Bangtan Boys have not only dominated the music industry last year with three releases: 'Dynamite', Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo's 'Savage Love' and 'Life Goes On' but have also been trending on social media. The septet has even achieved their career's biggest feat by securing their first-ever Grammy nomination in the 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' as well.

BLACKPINK

Despite the pandemic bringing the world of entertainment to a standstill, BLACKPINK stepped up and left everyone impressed with their music. From teaming up with Selena Gomez for 'Ice Cream' to courting controversy over the nurse scenes in 'Lovesick Girls' music video, the all-girls group went on to secure a place for themselves on the Billboard music charts.

Stray Kids

Another K-pop boys group which has caught everyone's attention in 2020 is Stray Kids. The group which is composed of eight-members made their official Japanese debut and even released the English versions of their popular tracks 'Double Knot' and 'Levanter' in 2020. Meanwhile, their collaboration with ATEEZ and The Boyz at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards left everyone stunned.

EXO

Popularly known as the Kings of K-pop, the nine-members all-boys band EXO is one of the first K-pop groups to make a mark internationally. From introducing the world to K-pop music and creating several records, EXO members are now showcasing their solo skills to the world.

TWICE

TWICE rose to fame in 2016 with their track 'Cheer Up' which helped them bag prestigious music awards. In 2020, they featured alongside the BTS, BLACKPINK and others as the most-streamed Korean artists of 2020. After releasing their second Korean studio album Eyes Wide Open, the nine-members all-girls group teamed up with K/DA and even stormed to the top of many music charts with their seventh Japanese single titled 'Better'.
