Best-rated BTS tours: From ‘Love Yourself’ to ‘The Wings’ tours

BTS is known to present powerhouse performances no matter where they are. From their hit concert tours to music show comeback performances. With their next big world tour coming in the next few years, here is a list of the top 5 tours that BTS has held over the years.

2/6

‘Permission to Dance’ tour (2021-2022)

BTS’ ‘Map of the Soul’ was cancelled midway due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ‘Permission to Dance’ is the highest-rated tour on the list due to the fact that it was created as a way to bypass the pandemic restrictions. The group utilized the hybrid mode and streamed the concerts online while they performed in an empty stadium. Only limited seating was allowed, and everyone was instructed to wear masks and follow safety protocols. According to Touring Data, the group earned USD 230.7 million from a total of 3.416 million tickets for 12 shows. These included both in-person attendance and online streaming.

3/6

‘Love Yourself / Speak Yourself World’ tour (2018–2019)

This was one of BTS’ biggest tours to date, which is why it is rated at number 2 on the list. The ‘Love Yourself’ tour held over 62 shows, which were held across a total of 14 countries. According to Billboard, the tour grossed over USD 246.5 million and was attended by more than 2 million people. It fell along with their ‘Love Yourself’ album series, and was the idol group’s third tour. It was also ranked number 3 on Billboard's 2019 Year-End Top 40 Tours chart worldwide list.

4/6

‘The Wings’ tour (2017)

2017 is known as BTS’ most iconic and popular era. Many also credit their album release during this time as one of the moments when the K-pop group went global. This was the first time that BTS introduced solo stages in their concerts, which added a whole new dimension to their live performances. The tour and album were inspired by a fictional work (Hermann Hesse’s novel ‘Demian’), and also helped create a ‘universe’ concept that was heavily praised by fans.

5/6

‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR’ (2025)

BTS’ oldest member, Jin, embarked on his first-ever solo tour last year, which became a major hit amongst fans all across the world. It is rated as one of the best BTS tours because of the fact that the idol was all about keeping the experience immersive for fans. Having games, live water shows, and more, the ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR’ was a defining experience for fans. He held a total of 18 shows across Asia, the U.S., and Europe, and as per The Korea Herald, earned USD 32.5 million.

6/6

‘Hope on the Stage’ tour (2025)

Another solo tour, this marked rapper J-Hope’s second solo tour. The idol returned to the stage all geared up, after he was officially discharged from his mandatory military service in late 2024. He held a total of 33 shows across various cities worldwide. The star presented the tour as a way to show his journey over the years. The concert setlist consisted of 26 songs, all from J-Hope’s debut studio album ‘Jack in the Box’, as well as the extended play titled ‘Hope on the Street Vol. 1.’
