Jake travels with vibes, not suitcases

For most people, forgetting to pack clothes before a trip can spell a disaster. But, for Jake Bongiovi, it’s a travel strategy. According to wife Millie Bobby Brown, the son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi treats every destination like a shopping mall waiting to happen – and the internet is both horrified and impressed.

Why pack when Prada exists?

Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Millie shared their very different approaches to shopping. “I’ll be like: ‘Oh, I need socks,’ and he’ll be like: ‘Let’s go to Prada!’ And I’m like: ‘Let’s go to Target, like, what?!’” she said. Things get even wilder when they travel. While Millie packs luggage, Jake reportedly boards flights with little more than a phone, a laptop, and optimism. Once they arrive, he borrows her charger and announces that he has no clothes and needs to go shopping.

Internet asks: Financial freedom or rich-kid behaviour?

Social media quickly split into two camps. Critics called it peak rich-kid behaviour, arguing that only someone born into wealth could treat an empty suitcase as a lifestyle choice. One user said, “If I am that rich I would do the same. Why bother with packing.” Others labelled him a “manchild” avoiding basic adult responsibilities. Then again, Jake has a point. If you can afford to buy a new wardrobe at every destination, why wrestle with baggage claim at all?
