Singer-dancer Amit Jadhav enjoys performing at weddings

'X Factor' finalist Amit Jadhav’s high-tech LED graphics act titled ‘This Is AJ’ has become popular at weddings and corporate shows. In a span of three years, the singer-dancer has performed at over 500 stage shows in India and abroad. He says, “I enjoy performing at wedding shows. The energy of the crowd at a wedding is so encouraging that I sometimes perform on stage for hours, without realising the passage of time.”

Interestingly, it was during his stint at the reality show that Amit was nicknamed AJ by the audience, who felt that his performance style — including his moonwalk and spin — was influenced by Michael Jackson.And Amit is all the more happy that coincidentally, Ajay Devgn and Prabhudheva have also used the AJ logo in their recent release Action Jackson. “I consider them my idols and in a way, I felt connected to them even though it’s nothing but a huge coincidence,” he concludes.
