and her contribution to this genre is unparalleled. When BT met her at the talent hunt event and asked her what steps she would like to take to revive this supposedly dying art form, she revealed to us, “I am registering a society in my guru ji’s name and am going to start doing 'baithaks' of classical music, of 'ghazals'. So, people who do not get the platform (to showcase their talent) and I feel they deserve at least half-an-hour and who are from Bombay, Pune and places that are easy for us to reach and get them here. Somebody needs to start…I am just waiting for my society to get registered, mostly from July-August. It will be named as 'Mituran Society'; it is after my guru ji Pandit Amarnath ji’s pen name. He represents Indore 'gharana'. Although he is no more but he has contributed more than 400 songs and compositions to Indore 'gharana' and classical music.”

However, this society for musically inclined people will be open to anyone and everyone who is a lover of any form of fine arts. She adds, “…It might be classical, it might be a 'baithak' of 'ghazals', of 'bhajans' and 'Kabir bhajans', it might be of some talk of like-minded people on film and literature. Every aspect of fine arts will be a part of my society.”
