'Gold' song 'Naino Ne Baandhi': Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy bring some old world charm to the screen with this romantic melody

The makers of Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 'Gold' have dropped their first song titled 'Naino Ne Baandhi' online featuring the Khiladi and Television's popular face Mouni Roy. We must say, the duo shares a sizzling chemistry and fit the characters well.




While Mouni looks gorgeous in traditional Bengali sarees, Akshay too is seen sporting a Bengali look from the late '40s.

Arko and Yasser Desai add the required flavour to the romantic melody that is sure to tug at your heartstrings instantly.

Set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era, 'Gold' revolves around the life of a Bengali Hockey coach named Tapan Das and his aspirations.

Also starring Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh and Sunny Kaushal, the period film has been shot across the UK and India and perfectly captures the fascinating aspects of the pre-Independence India.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar and helmed by Reema Kagti, 'Gold' is all set to release on the August 15.
