Talvar's trailer shifted its trails!

Buzz is that there was a last minute shift of location for the trailer launch of Talvar. The producers of the film had planned to launch the trailer of the film in Noida as the story is loosely inspired from the Aarushi Talwar murder case. But just two days before the launch, it was decided to move the event to Mumbai. A source said, “The administration apparently told the producers it was a sensitive issue and it would be advisable to move it away from reality and launch it in the film world. So, the decision was taken to shift it to Mumbai.” Talvar has been directed by Meghna Gulzar and has Irrfan Khan and Tabu playing the main leads in it. Apparently, the project has been approved by Aarushi’s parents, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar. Konkona Sen Sharma and Sohum Shah will be playing the parents’ roles while Irrfan is the investigating officer on the case. Tabu is Aarushi’s aunt in the film.

Three different viewpoints of Arushi Talwar Murder Case to be presented in 'Talvar'

Konkona plays the distraught mother and Neeraj the father, while Irrfan plays the role of an investigative officer. Vishal clarified, “When we started researching on the case, we found bizarre contradictory things and each point of view had its own conviction. So, we thought why not present all these three versions, like Kurosawa did in his classic film Rashomon. It had three different points of view of a murder. So, we have presented the conviction of all three." The Lunchbox star Irrfan gave a heads up to the film because he found the story very powerful. He added, “When I read this script, there were different versions of the story, but still there were such powerful emotions in it. That is what compelled me to do the film." Konkona added, “The script has looked at every possible aspect of the investigation." Further Meghna added, “With this, I have stepped out of everything that is comfortable and that itself was exciting."

'Talvar' grabbed me emotionally: Irrfan Khan

According to a PTI report, Piku star Irrfan Khan says a powerful and emotional story-telling compelled him to be a part of his upcoming film Talvar."What happens with us is that we only read headline... We listen to news or somebody's version and we tend to believe that. When I read the story, it grabbed me emotionally.
