Shah Rukh Khan: Celebs we would like to see attending his birthday bash

Shah Rukh Khan has had an eventful year with his Diwali release Happy New Year creating many records at the box-office. The film has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark and the entire team is busy celebrating this success with their fans across the country. It is also learnt that the baadshah is planning to celebrate his birthday, which falls November 2, in style. A report in dailybhaskar.com states that the who's who of the Hindi film fraternity is expected to be at SRK's bash. We make our own wishlist of celebs we would like to see at King Khan's birthday celebrations.

Karan Johar: Putting aside all media speculations, all is indeed well between Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. The best buddies of B-town have worked together in a number of movies including Kuch Kuch Hota Hain, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. KJo has always spoken highly about his friend and while there were a lot of rumours about a tiff between the two, Karan Johar put them all to rest when in an interview with the Hindustan Times, the filmmaker went on record to say that he's in touch with SRK. "Yes, all the time. We are always connected, and I am deeply connected to his home and family any way. Some relationships are beyond work and my relationship with him will always be like that. I know that in crisis - be it emotional, personal or professional, he is one of the people I will always turn to, and I am sure he will do the same," clarified Karan. We surely hope KJo makes his presence felt at this do.

The Bachchans: While it may be a given that Abhishek will be invited to King Khan's birthday bash, considering he is part of the film Happy New Year, we hope to see other members of Junior Bachchan's family making it to this bash. Topping the list is Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. The family shares a cordial relationship with Shah Rukh Khan and interestingly, while Big B has been hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati, Shah Rukh hosted the show's third season. SRK and Big B share a cordial relationship and the camaraderie is visible. The team of HNY even visited the sets of KBC for the Diwali special episode where everyone was seen having a gala time. So we hope the Bachchans are there at SRK's big birthday bash this year, including the Bachchan bahu Aishwarya who has worked with Shah Rukh in the past too.

Salman Khan: Shah Rukh and Salman posed together for shutterbugs at Baba Siddiqui's Iftar party in 2013. After their alleged rift, this was the first time that the two Khans were seen together. They posed yet again in 2014 for Baba Siqqdiqui's Iftar party and since then, both the stars have spoken positively about each other and Salman even praised SRK's abs in Happy New Year, calling them genuine. We surely hope Salman is invited for Shah Rukh's birthday bash.

Aamir Khan: Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan shared screen space briefly in Ashutosh Gowariker's Pehla Nasha. The Bollywood stars share a cordial relationship and were even seen sharing a cab together while visiting the Capital. In fact, in an interview to The Times of India, Aamir was quoted as saying, "Shah Rukh is a friend too, we addressed the industry's issues once, together. And not just actors, even producers, directors, musicians, technicians, exhibitors and distributors should come together as an industry to improve things within the system." Since Mr. Perfectionist is not known to be a very social person, we sure hope he and Kiran Rao are seen at this birthday do and make their presence felt.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan: The chote Nawab of Pataudi and his begum Kareena Kapoor Khan have been good friends with Shah Rukh Khan. While Bebo has done films with SRK that include Ra.One, Asoka The Great and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham to name a few, Saif and SRK have hosted Filmfare Awards together and also shared screen space in Karan Johar's film Kal Ho Naa Ho. We surely hope to see royalty as SRK's birthday bash guests!

Madhuri Dixit: They have done some good films together and Dil Toh Pagal Hai is etched in the memory of the audience forever. As Rahul and Nisha, both King Khan and the dhak dhak girl of Bollywood have created magic on celluloid and SRK also shares a good rapport with the dancing diva. The baadshah of Bollywood even graced the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, a dance reality show where Madhuri was one of the judges, to promote his film. It will be a treat for sore eyes to see Mads walk in with her husband Dr. Sriram Nene and her two adorable sons for SRK's birthday party.

Shirish Kunder: Let bygones be bygones or at least that is the mantra both Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder seem to follow. The two apparently had a major fight once that became media fodder for days. But eventually everything was sorted between the two, courtesy their friends from the Hindi film fraternity, including Shirish's wife and SRK's friend Farah Khan. The baadshah was recently seen in Farah's big Diwali release, Happy New Year and ever since, the team has been celebrating. While the entire star cast including the director are expected to be at the party, we surely hope Shirish is on the guest list and makes it to SRK's birthday bash .

Rohit Shetty: Rohit Shetty and SRK teamed-up for one of 2013's biggest blockbusters, Chennai Express. The film was a huge with the audience and it was the first time that the ace director and superstar paired up. Rohit Shetty's also known to be close to SRK and his interview in The Times of India is proof of that, "No equations have changed for me after this film in the industry. It is just that I have made a great friend, a family member in Shah Rukh Khan," the director was quoted saying. Further adding, "We had a great time making Chennai Express, it was a learning experience working with Shah Rukh... it was a positive experience. We will do a film together. It will be that (masala entertainer) way only. We are just at planning stage at present, nothing is finalised. I can't say anything more as I don't know what the project will be like when it's complete." Considering their friendship, we would definitely love to see Shetty on the guest list.

Malaika Arora Khan: The 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' girl is said to be a good friend of SRK's and was recently touring with him and the Happy New Year team for SLAM! The Tour across the United States and the UK. She also did a special appearance in this big blockbuster. We surely hope Malaika with her son Arhaan and husband Arbaaz Khan makes it to one of the most happening birthday bashes in town this year. With Malaika at this do, the temperatures will surely soar as is the case with this yummy mummy, always.
