Prem Ratan Dhan Payo: Things we liked in the trailer

The Sooraj Barjatya-Salman Khan magic

The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo trailer is grand and visually appealing with every shot dripping with the grandeur that is the characteristic of all Sooraj Barjatya films. What stays even long after the film releases is its music, beautiful love story and of course the characters that Sooraj creates. The manner in which he has sketched Salman’s character and immortalized him as Prem is applaud worthy.

Eternal music of the ‘90s

The Salman and Sooraj Barjatya jodi is back with the music of the ‘90s. The melodious background music reminds us of Sooraj’s Hum Saath Saath Hain and Vivah which featured songs that were melodious. With glimpses of the extravagant song and dance numbers, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo trailer assures that the music is definitely going to top the chartbusters soon.

The royal touch

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is the story of prince Prem who is used to living the royal life. While the film’s trailer gives us a few glimpses of the huge palace decorated for Diwali eve or to welcome its heir, the exotic locations in the heart of royalty complete with forts, chandeliers and vintage buggies, just seals the deal. And since Sooraj Barjatya steps into the royal space for the first time with Salman, only the sky seems to be the limit for them.

Tradition, values and everything in between

The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo trailer instantly makes us fall in love with Salman Khan and his warmth as he stretches his hands to welcome us for the big banner family movie this Diwali. The soft-spoken Prem who is every inch a gentleman, is back with his demure presence and shy demeanour. With a royal kingdom as the backdrop complete and stars clad in traditional costumes, the film also reminds us of Salman’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which was loved for its lavish set up.
