Finally bringing all the rumours to an end, cricketer Harbhajan Singh and actress Geeta Basra are all set to tie the knot in Jalandhar, Punjab, which will be followed by a grand reception in Delhi. While we are sure to spot Team India at the nuptials cheering Bhajji on the big day, all those who happen to miss the ceremony will certainly make it to their grand wedding reception in Delhi. The presence of Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly is expected at the wedding, while the Delhi brigade, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Virender Sehwag might make it to the do in the capital. Ambanis – Mumbai Indians

Harbhajan Singh is a part of the IPL team, Mumbai Indians, which is owned by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries. Therefore, Nita Ambani, who never misses a single match played by the boys, might make it to the wedding. And of course, the Mumbai Indians are expected to be a part of the Punjabi wedding and we are sure the guest list includes all - from home player Rohit Sharma to international players like Lendll Simmons, Lasith Malinga and Kieron Pollard. We hope to see them colour the wedding blue.

PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi may have a tight schedule, but he does take out time for his special ones. Harbhajan Singh met Modi this month and personally invited him to the grand wedding on October 29 in Jalandhar, which will be followed by a wedding reception in Delhi. Well, if Modi is present in the capital on the day, we expect him to make a brief visit to bless the newlyweds on the auspicious occasion and share his selfie with the couple.

Dharmendra, Tina Ahuja, Gippy Garewal

Geeta Basra was last seen in the film Second Hand Husband which had Gippy Grewal, Tina Ahluwalia (Govinda’s daughter) and Dharmendra in prominent roles. The team, including Geeta, had a great time working on the film and had also celebrated Dharmendra’s 79th birthday on the sets with a bang. Obviously, Dharam paji and Gippy are not expected to miss Bhajji and Geeta’s pure Punjabi wedding. We also hope to see Tina accompany her co-star as she walks down the aisle in Jalandhar.

Bollywood connect

Harbhajan Singh does have quite a few Bollywood friends besides lady love Geeta Basra. The off-spinner is good friends with Kapil Sharma and had a lot of fun on the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil. Since Kapil and Harbhajan also share a Punjabi connection, as Kapil hails from Amritsar, his presence is expected at the nuptials.
