EK Villain: Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra meet their fans

Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra are busy promoting their film Ek Villain. The actors took some time out to meet their fans, who won a chance to meet and greet Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. The fans were overwhelmed on the utter mention of their victory. They met Shraddha in her vanity van and clicked pictures with the star. Sidharth Malhotra too made her fans smile as she signed autographs for her admirers. The fans, who won through the TOI contest were happy and showed excitement about the film.

Shraddha recently did a Twitter chat with her fans and got candid about her career and friends in Bolywood. The Times of India organised the LIVE Twitter chat with Shraddha Kapoor for her upcoming film 'Ek Villain'. The interaction that went upto two hours was successful and became the All India Twitter trend with the hashtag (#EkVillainShraddha) during the duration of the chat. Shraddha Kapoor opened up and answered questions that her fans asked about the film 'Ek Villain', her character and her other performances and also her singing debut.

Sidharth will be seen in a very different avatar in Ek Villan. The young actor is very nervous and is anxious for the film to release. The actor also claimed that he loves trying different roles and it was a different experience for him. Co-stars Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra hosted separate previews of their latest outing Ek Villain for friends and family. Alia Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, Punit Malhotra, Manish Malhotra, Karan Malhotra, Abhishek Varman and Hiroo Johar were spotted at the screening hosted by Sidharth.

The film has already grabbed a lot of eyeballs. At a special screening hosted by Sidharth, filmmaker Karan Johar praised director Mohit Suri for making an outstanding film. "I was lucky to see Mohit Suri's face first after the film ended and he is the biggest star of the film. I hugged and told him that you have made an outstanding film," the 42-year-old said. The film, which also features Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor, has been produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of her production house Balaji Motion Pictures and Karan feels that it is going to be its biggest hit ever.

Shraddha is busy with the film and not just her fans, but her father Shakti Kapoor is also eagerly waiting for the film. Shakti Kapoor in a conversation with TOI claims that Ek Villain will steal many hearts and make people cry. "I was fortunate enough to read the script of Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2. Shraddha will be seen in a different range of performance. The film is all set to release this Friday, but I can predict that people are going to cry after watching Ek Villain," said Shakti. Shraddha has a huge following on Twitter and people are showing keen interest in the film. The songs are also very popular and the curiosity has multiplied.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Mohit Suri's Ek Villain releases today, the producers, Balaji Motion Pictures, have been flooded with requests for a preview of the film. From corporate officials to Bollywood biggies, a wide spectrum of people have asked for seats at special screenings. Keeping in view the demand, more than 15 previews have already been held across the city.
