As the world celebrates the auspicious festival of Eid today (6th October 2014), we look at what our B-town and TV celebs are hoping, wishing and praying for!

Amitabh Bachchan: Big B took to Twitter to wish his fans. He tweeted, "T 1636 - EID MUBARAK .. !!! may the Almighty bring love togetherness and peace among us all ..." (sic)

Nargis Fakhri: The pretty actress is wishing for health, happiness and prosperity and this is the picture she shared on micro blogging site Twitter.

Anupam Kher: The Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai talk show host took to Twitter to wish everyone . "Eid Mubarak to all. Love, Peace & Happiness Always.:)" (sic)

Preity Zinta: The actress posted, "Eid Mubarak to all my friends in India & All over the world ! May this day be filled with love, happiness, peace, hugs & saivaiyya :-) Ting." (sic)

Saqib Saleem: The Mere Dad Ki Maruti star tweeted, "Eid mubarak everyone!! May allah give the people of Kashmir strength to overcome the obstacles that they have faced due to the floods!!" (sic)

Shobhaa De: She kept it simple and classy with a tweet that read, "Eid Mubarak , world. Peace, peace and more peace."

Arjun Rampal: The actor, who is filming for Roy in Malaysia, also wishes for love and peace. He took to twitter to post, "Eid Mubarak to all celebrating today. Love and peace." He further wrote, "Eid Adha Mubarak to all celebrating today. In Malaysia, biryani on sets. Yum." (sic) Now someone's having a 'Roy'al time, for sure!

Rekha Bhardwaj: Riding high on the success of her haunting melody from Haider, the singer wished all when she tweeted, " Let there be just love n compassion!! Eid Mubarak !!!!!" (sic)

Shekhar Kapur: The director who has been working on his ambitious project Paani for a while now, took to Twitter to wish, "#EidMubarak 2 all that live in peace harmony compassion n care for those that r troubled n less fortunate. No matter what religion u follow." (sic)

Madhur Bhandarkar: The director who is currently busy with his next, titled Calender Girls, tweeted, "May the noor of this EID illuminate your heart, mind, soul and may all your prays be answered. EID MUBARAK." (sic)

Kritika Kamra: The TV actress joined in the wishes with her tweet, "Eid Mubarak. May Allah fill your heart with love & bless you with joy, peace and prosperity."

Vishal Dadlani-Shekhar Ravjiani: The music directors also tweeted and wished for love, peace and compassion among other things.
Vishal Dadlani posted, "Eid Mubarak, all. Celebrate every festival, with love, compassion and consideration for those around you. Have a great day!" (sic) Shekhar Ravjiani tweeted, "Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones. May this day bring you joy, happiness, peace & prosperity."

Shah Rukh Khan is busy with the promotions of his upcoming heist film Happy New Year, Aamir Khan is busy with Satyamev Jayate 3 and Salman is busy with the shoot of Bigg Boss 8. Though they might be busy, their co-actors and contemporaries are wishing all on micro blogging site Twitter.
