Diwali 2017: Bollywood celebrity kids dressed up for the festival

While Bollywood celebrities are dressed to the nines as the festive season dawns upon us, their children aren’t too far behind. As they unleash their colourful attires at starry bashes, some end up setting fashion goals, while the rest end up providing a glimpse into the celebrity lives. Here’s taking a look at Bollywood celebrity kids who dressed up for Diwali this year.

Dressed in an exquisite Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla Anarkali with Mughlai style embroidery and heavy mirror work, Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara was a sight to behold at the bash. The beauty even took a royal twirl in the beautiful ensemble for a video, which was later shared online by the designer duo. With her hair worn in loose curls, Sara accessorised with drop earrings and minimal makeup.

Sridevi’s daughters Janhvi and Khushi trot out the best of their enviable wardrobes for their growing fan-base at every public occasion they grace. Janhvi chose to go bright in a sea-green lehenga with colourful sequinned embroidery, long hair let down in natural waves. Diamond drop earrings and a hot pink studded clutch completed her look. Her younger sister, Khushi, on the other hand, chose a more neutral ensemble, wearing a blush corset choli with a heavily embellished lehenga skirt.

Ajay Devgn posted a picture along with his wife Kajol and children on his Instagram account. The picture had all four of them posing happily in front of the camera. Nysa and Yug can be seen flaunting their respective ethnic wears alongside their parents. While Nysa posed proudly with papa Ajay, Yug is seen clinging to his mommy dearest, Kajol.

Pictures of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her daughter Navya Naveli all decked up twinning in white outfits made their way online from a Diwali bash. Navya was clad in a beautiful white lehenga choli while mother Shweta sports a lehenga too but with a hotter blouse. Shweta was wearing a strappy blouse with a plunging neckline. The two ladies looked absolutely gorgeous.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s little munchkin was all excited as she celebrated her first Diwali with her doting parents and family. Daddy Shahid shared an adorable picture of her on his Instagram handle where the little angel can be seen dressed in a blue traditional skirt and top with small pink flowers. She was clicked holding an artificial diya. The floral rangoli, which Shahid has mentioned in his post, can be seen in the background. Captioning the picture, Shahid wrote, “Phoolon ki rangoli with my little angel. On this festive day let’s celebrate love and togetherness.”

The Bachchan family came together this year to celebrate a quiet Diwali. Amitabh Bachchan was seen clad in a pink and grey kurta with white pajama, Abhishek looked dapper in a royal blue kurta, Aishwarya’s attire complemented that of her hubby’s, Jaya Bachchan was seen clad in an off-white saree and Aaradhya looked adorable in an off-white lehenga.

Shilpa Shetty and hubby Raj Kundra hosted a star-studded Diwali bash which saw who’s who of B-town showed up. The hosting party stepped out in their traditional best as the young Viaan matched his outfit with that of his father’s red kurta and white pajamas. The father-son duo looked extremely cute, while mommy Shilpa was dressed in a splendid fusion dress.

Amidst the many parties thrown by Bollywood celebs, Anil Kapoor’s bash also saw an eclectic mix of personalities at the get-together. While daughter Sonam looked every bit cheerful in her traditional best, Chunky Panday and wife Bhavna walked in with daughter Ananya. The Pandays, especially the ladies, unleashed their style quotient with their immaculate lehenga-choli combinations.
