'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha': Twinkle Khanna shares a witty post on success of hubby's film

Twinkle Khanna, who is known for her wit and humour, recently shared a witty post celebrating the success of hubby Akshay Kumar's film, 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'.

Mrs. Funnybones took to Twitter to share a poster from the film and captioned it, "So even the box office needed this Toilet eventually to break free from its constipation-#ToiletEkPremKath Hit Hit Hooray!"

'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' which is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, talks about the evils of open defecation and a man's mission to curb it, the movie also features Bhumi Pednekar, Divyendu Sharma and Anupam Kher.

‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ that stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead is much awaited not just by fans but also by most of Bollywood given the issue it highlights. The problem of sanitization is acute in a country like ours and the makers of the film to have achieved many a praise for raising such an important issue. The energizer bunny of B-town is always one of the firsts to adapt to or set a trend. Ranveer was the first one to promote ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ in his own way. He hid in the restroom of Bhumi Pednekar’s hotel room. When she knocked on the door, he came out and talked about how sanitization is a big issue in our country and one of his favourite actors Akshay Kumar has made a movie highlighting this matter. Donning a quirky attire, the ‘Padmavati’ actor in a witty way asks Bhumi and everyone else to watch the movie with their families.

Arjun Kapoor is known for his good sense of humour. The ‘Mubarakan’ actor had his own way to promote ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. In the video, Varun is seen working out in the gym. He is seen doing pull-ups and just when he reaches 100, he immediately stops. He tells his trainer that he can’t do anymore as he wants to go to the toilet. That’s when his instructor says he can’t to which he asks why? The instructor reminds him that it is so because ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ releases on August 11, 2017.

Rhea Chakraborty, who was last seen in ‘Half Girlfiend’ also joined the league of celebs promoting ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’.
