Known to be quite an eccentric lot of professionals, the role of a chef does offer the actor to show his capabilities on a different level. While beating up a bunch of villians is a quintessential part of being a hero, whipping up delicious food on screen is a sure shot way of winning over the audience's hearts! The original Bollywood superstar, Rajesh Khanna played a cook and a do-it-all person around the house in this movie which is about a family who cannot keep a cook around for long as they tend to mistreat the servants. Rajesh Khanna as Raghu, not only wins the heart of the family but also proves himself to be the saviour in disguise.

Amitabh Bachchan in 'Cheeni Kum'

The great Amitabh Bachchan plays a successful chef and owner of a famous Indian restuarant in London. He falls in love with Tabu who is less than half his age when she criticizes his cooking and has a tough time making her father, played by Paresh Rawal, agree to their marriage.
