Bail plea hearing: What's happening outside Salman's residence

There's a wave of happiness outside Salman's residence as the crowd gathered cheers suspension of the sentence. It was earlier reported that Salman had gone to sleep, while the court proceedings were underway. However, the loud cheer would have surely woken up the actor who resides on the first floor of the Galaxy Apartments. Ajay Devgn and Malaika Arora Khan were seen visiting the actor, immediately after the news of sentence suspension was out. The actor will now have to visit the sessions court immediately to submit a fresh bail bond to procure bail.

While Salman's siblings are either outside the house or in the court, Salman is keeping his parents company in the house. Reportedly, Salman's mother is still unwell and a doctor is on standby to monitor her health.

While Salman Khan's fans have been by his side throughout the case proceedings, it seems that Salman's detractors too are gathering outside his house. According to reports on Times Now, a mob of people carrying anti-Salman placards were spotted outside Salman's residence. The detractors are reportedly pavement dwellers. The police also had to use lathicharge to disperse the growing crowd.

He was up and running on May 6, having reached the court at 10:45 am. Even on May 8, when the bail plea hearing is pending. the superstar woke up at 9 am. Though Salman won't be present at the HC for the bail plea hearing, he is ensuring he gets a minute-by-minute account of the proceedings.

Crowd control: In what seems to be a deja-vu moment, the crowds are camping outside the Salman's residence again, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor. Salman fans, who were present outside his residence, were in for a treat on May 7, when a battery of stars descended at the actor's Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra. A police squad is stationed outside the actor's house to control the crowd, if they go berserk. Extra forces are also on stand by to fill in, if necessary.

Morning walk continues: While his son's bail plea hearing is pending on May 8, Salim Khan was seen enjoying his usual morning walk on Bandra Bandstand. He had also gone for a walk on the verdict day - May 6. The filmmaker was thronged by people on the Bandstand promenade and he was seen interacting with them. Salim Khan has always maintained his composure. While Salman's mother had taken ill after Salman's conviction, Salim Khan stood strong like a rock, throughout.
