Aditya Pancholi's tryst with controversies

Ever since Kangana Ranaut made shocking revelations about her past relationships in an interview, every news development surrounding it has become national news. Earlier in the past Aditya Pancholi was spotted outside a city court along with his wife Zarina Wahab where they have filed a case against the 'Queen' actress. While Aditya was spotted in a casual white shirt and blue jeans, his wife Zarina donned a beige coloured floral salwar-kameez. The Bollywood couple had filed a defamation case against Kangana, who also revealed about Hrithik and also Shekhar Suman's son Adhyayan during her promotional interviews of her recently released film 'Simran'.

Controversy never seems to stray too far from Aditya Pancholi and his family. The actor, who is known to play the baddie on screen, has often grabbed headlines, usually for the wrong reasons which include allegedly picking fights and making controversial statements.

Here's a look at some of his infamous controversies.

Aditya Pancholi's alleged affair with the then struggling actress Kangana Ranaut made headlines and remains one of the juiciest scandals in Bollywood till date. Well, the chapter seems to have opened up yet again when Kangana, in a recent interview, hinted at Pancholi's alleged violent ways and how he had physically abused her by hitting her on the head. This apparently didn't go down too well with the latter as he has decided to take legal action against the actress for making false claims.

In March 2015, Aditya Pancholi had reportedly assaulted a security guard (bouncer) at a pub in Juhu. The actor was allegedly intoxicated and was involved in a vociferous argument with a DJ to play his favourite Hindi movie songs instead of western numbers. Following a verbal spat, Pancholi allegedly hit the security guard who was escorting him out of the pub on the head with his mobile phone. Pancholi was arrested by the police for criminal intimidation, public nuisance, breach of peace and assault charges.

Just before his Bollywood debut, Aditya's son Sooraj Pancholi was dating late actress Jiah Khan and was suspected of being involved in her suicide. During that phase, Aditya had made headlines for taunting Jiah's mother Rabiya Khan, for her demand that the FBI probe her daughter’s death. Pancholi even filed contempt of court when she did not abide by HC's order of no defamatory statements against the Pancholi family.

In 2013 Aditya Pancholi allegedly engaged in a nasty fight with his neighbour and was accused of beating him up as he was irked by the disturbance caused due to renovation work at the latter’s apartment. CCTV footage of the incident reportedly showed Pancholi holding the man by his collar and dragging him outside the house before assaulting him. A similar incident was reported later the same year.

In 2011, Aditya Pancholi allegedly fought with crew members and a co-pilot of an airline, after they made an announcement about bad weather. It was reported that Pancholi tried to push one of the crew members. Subsequently, other crew members tried to calm Pancholi, but the latter shouted at them and kept abusing the airline and its management.

Aditya Pancholi, who was once dating actress Pooja Bedi, was accused of raping her then, 15-year-old maid. His alleged involvement in raping a minor stirred up a storm. Although the actor repeatedly claimed that it was consensual sex, he was later proven guilty. Pooja eventually broke off her relationship with him when the allegations were proved right.
