5 things to look out for in Aditya and Rani's Iftar party

As per a report in Mumbai Mirror it was the same venue, the same host and the same photo opportunity. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan had famously buried the hatchet at Baba Siddiqui's Iftaar party at a Bandra hotel last year and the twain met again last night. SRK was the first to arrive at the gathering and the Khan family, including Salman, brothers Arbaaz, Sohail and their father Salim Khan walked in half an hour later. Salman and Shah Rukh posed together with their host and then retired to two corners for the rest of the evening. While Salman sat with his brothers, his former rival took a seat with Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and Salim Khan.

Though these Iftar parties are regular, an unexpected couple has decided to host the feast this year. Filmmaker Aditya Chopra and his lovely wife Rani Mukerji will be hosting the first Iftar together. Let's take a look at some of the most unexpected things that could happen at Aditya and Rani's Iftar party

As the auspicious month of Ramzan has begun, Muslims across the world are looking forward to the grand Iftar parties. Bollywood, which is dominated by the Khans, has hosted some of the country’s most lavish Iftar parties. It is in these parties that the who’s who of B-town, politics and glamour world come together and break their fast with love and togetherness. Though these parties are regular, this year it isn't Salman Khan or Ekta Kapoor who are hosting the feast. Instead, filmmaker Aditya Chopra and his lovely wife Rani Mukerji will be hosting the first Iftar together. Who all will be invited? Will old enemies resolve their differences? Will it be a place for singles to find their soul mates. Read and find ouT.

Salman and Shah Rukh Khan to hug and rekindle their friendship again? Last year’s Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party in Mumbai was the most talked about event of the year. It was the party when Bollywood’s biggest rivals Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan forgot their bitter past and hugged each other warmly. In fact, it was a possible hint by two warring Khans that things are normal between the two. Now that the Chopras are hosting the first Iftar party of the season, we are hoping for a déjà vu moment this year too. Since both Rani and Aditya are very close to the three Khans- Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan, there is a possibility that they are invited and they attend the Iftar bash of the newly-weds. If that is the case, will we see another hug between SRK and Salman. Considering that it is the holy month of Ramzan, will we see them go beyond a courteous hug and revive their friendship? Well we have our fingers crossed.

Rani-Aditya’s chemistry: When Rani Mukerji got secretly married to filmmaker Aditya Chopra in April in a private ceremony in Italy, it became the most talked about thing across the country. While the industry was shocked with the secrecy, Rani’s fans felt cheated. Since then the media has been trying its best to quench the curiosity of their fans by trying to click their photos together but in vain. However, this Iftar party will not only give them a chance to interact with their friends from the industry (and hopefully media), but also give us a chance to see them together. The party will be hosted by the newly-wed couple and will give the onlookers a glimpse of their personal life. Well we would love to have a peek into the venue to see them together. Won’t you?

A reason for Uday Chopra to cheer up: Heartbreaks are painful and when you have apparently broken off with a hottie like Nargis Fakri, the pain would indeed be intense. Since Uday has just allegedly parted ways with actress Nargis due to commitment issues, the heartbroken actor would want a reason to party and mix around with people. And what is better than an Iftar bash that will see all big stars of the showbiz in attendance. And with so many beauties around, you never know when cupid may strike again. What say Uday?

Will Kajol be invited? Gossip mongers have always hinted that the two cousins Rani Mukerji and Kajol are not very close. However, these rumours were proved right when Kajol was not invited for Jab Tak Hai Jaan’s premier in 2012. Considering the guest list was allegedly prepared by Rani, Kajol’s absence just led to speculations. Now that Rani is married, there is a remote possibility that she lets all bygones be bygones and invites her cousin Kajol for the party. She even takes the holy festival of Ramzan in right spirit and renews all ties with her sister. It will indeed be a pleasure to see both the actresses hug and makeup.

Daawat-e-Ishq trailer launch: Ramzan, which is associated with lavish Iftar parties, has begun and is celebrated across the world with fervour. Bollywood too will host grand Iftar bashes that will see the who’s who of B-town. The first Iftar party will be hosted by filmmaker Aditya Chopra, who recently got married to Rani Mukerji in a secret ceremony in Italy. However, besides hosting his friends, Adi has another reason to host this party and that is launching the trailer of his upcoming film. A report in IMDb says that Aditya will be launching the trailer of his upcoming film Daawat-e-Ishq on July 7 and that will be followed by an Iftar party at YRF studios. Starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra, this film has been directed by Habib Faizal. It has been shot extensively in and around Lucknow and Hyderabad, and it revolves around the subject of food.
