The media has been buzzing about the secret wedding of actress Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra, which took place in Italy on April 21. However, rumours suggest that it was not a planned decision and was a spur of the moment decision. A Mid-Day report suggested that the couple had gone to Italy for a holiday when they suddenly decided to tie the knot. Hence, the wedding was a private affair and missed the glitz and lavishness that is usually seen in B-Town weddings. The wedding was a private affair, which was attended by immediate family and close friends. It was held in a small church. Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant, who is Rani's closest friend, flew down to Italy on April 19. In fact the report adds that designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee was asked to design her wedding attire at the last minute.

In fact Yash Chopra has shot for so many films there that he was honoured by the Swiss Government. In Switzerland, Yash Chopra shot at a lake in the Alpenrausch so often that it was christened Chopra Lake. In fact, a mini train, which would be thoroughly enjoyed by Rani and Aditya as it takes tourists through the Alps, is also named after Yash Chopra.
