When Kajol reveals her admiration for 'Sholay'; Says, 'It’s like the most perfect book coe to life'

In a past social media post, Kajol offered a glimpse into her world, sharing two films, one from Bollywood and one from Hollywood, that left an undeniable mark on her.

According to the actress in an Instagram video snippet, she mentioned,“My favourite film of all time that I can pick up anywhere and watch at anytime is 'Sholay'. I absolutely love the film, and I love the characters. It’s like the most perfect book coe to life. Thank God It wasn’t the book.”


She further mentioned, “I recently sat down and watched Sound Of Music. And it was amazing, because I love the music I love the characters. I have sat spell bound to those entire 3 hours. I didn’t feel the need to get up, and take a break or go get a glass of water.”

A whole ago, Ajay Devgn has revealed a sneak peek of 'Maharagni – Queen of Queens,' featuring Kajol and Prabhu Deva in prominent roles. This action-packed thriller marks their reunion after nearly three decades since 'Minsaara Kanavu' (1997), directed by Rajiv Menon. Steering this cinematic endeavor is director CharanTej Uppalapati.

Ajay Devgn shared an electrifying glimpse on his Instagram, showcasing Kajol's dynamic character engaged in intense battles, displaying remarkable skills and flair. The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, Jisshu Sengupta, and Aditya Seal.

Reports indicate that the initial filming phase of the movie has been successfully completed, with plans to unveil a teaser in the near future.

On the work front, Kajol is set to star in 'Do Patti' alongside Kriti Sanon, 'Sarzameen' with Ibrahim Ali Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Additionally, she has a spine-chilling horror flick titled 'Maa' currently in development.
