Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is scheduled to illuminate the opening ceremony of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024, set to take place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, February 23rd.
Ahead of the same, a video of the superstar rehearsing on 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' for his performance is doing the rounds on social media.

The King of Indian cinema, Shahrukh Khan, has joined the ranks of stars such as Tiger Shroff, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, and Sidharth Malhotra, who will all grace the star-studded ceremony with their performances.
The opening match of the WPL will feature a rematch of last year's finals, pitting the Delhi Capitals against the Mumbai Indians. Both teams are poised to start the event with fervor, aiming to seize the prestigious title once again. The tournament will go on till March 17 and will be held in Bengaluru and Delhi.
The summit clash is scheduled for March 17 in New Delhi, while the eliminator will be held on March 15. The forthcoming edition will be hosted by Delhi and Bengaluru, with all matches commencing at 7:30 pm.
The structure of the WPL's 2024 season will mirror that of the previous year, with the top three teams from the league stage advancing to the playoffs. The team securing the top position in the league standings will secure a direct berth in the final. Meanwhile, the teams finishing second and third will face off in the Eliminator on March 15 for a chance to advance further.
