"Akshay Kumar will play Rishi Sunak in some future season of The Crown yes?" quipped a Twitter user in a post that soon went viral.

As the hit series 'The Crown' is based on Queen Elizabeth II's life, her reign and the major milestones in British history and politics, some quipped that Akshay would be the perfect fit to play the first Indian-origin PM. The posibility of that happening, however will be bleak as the series is scheduled to end after its 6th season. It is still unclear if the makers will include the death of Prince Philip and the Queen into the show.

A Twitter user even shared a video of Akshay's scene in 'Namste London' with Katrina Kaif and quipped, "Akshay Kumar auditioning to play Rishi Sunak in his biopic."

Not too long ago, twitterati had a hearty laugh over Akki's resemblance to a character from another royal drama. Many claimed that the star looked very similar to Paddy Considine's King Viserys Targaryen in 'House Of The Dragon'.
