Sushant Singh Rajput's death case: List of people interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case seems to be getting complicated as new claims have been cropping up with each day. While fans, family and several popular celebrities have been demanding a CBI probe in the late actor's death case, the Supreme Court is yet to give a verdict on the transfer of the case.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate has been summoning people for interrogation and carrying out their investigation in connection to the money laundering angle related to Sushant's death. While the late actor's father KK Singh has recently recorded his statement in Delhi, reports suggest that Rhea Chakroborty's accountant Ritesh Shah and Sushant's business partner Varun Mathur will be summoned as well. Meanwhile, check out the list of people summoned and interrogated by the ED until now.

Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik were the first ones to be summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for interrogation. While the brother-sister duo was grilled for several hours by the ED, their father Indrajit Chakraborty was also summoned in connection to the money laundering case. Meanwhile, Rhea's lawyer had requested for the interrogation to be postponed till the SC hearing but it was rejected.

Mitu Singh was the first person from Sushant Singh Rajput's family, who was called in for questioning by the ED before KK Singh. She was summoned to reportedly gather the details about of the late actor’s finances like bank accounts, investments and other details. The reports further suggested that the agency was keen on knowing if the family members doubted the transactions in Sushant's account as the late actor's father KK Singh had alleged that an amount close to Rs 15 crore was siphoned off from his son's account.

Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, who was present in the house when the actor had passed away was summoned multiple times by the ED for interrogation. Apart from Rhea and her family, Sushant's family had also alleged him of taking over the late actor's finances. Meanwhile, according to IANS, an ED official had revealed that the agency had questioned him about the financial details of Sushant and the investments made by the late actor in the companies in which he was a director along with his girlfriend Rhea and her brother Showik.

Shruti Modi, who was the former manager of Sushant was also called in for questioning in connection to the money laundering case many times by the ED. According to the call data record of Rhea Chakraborty shared by Times Now, the actress was in touch with Modi and had connected nearly 808 times on call. Meanwhile, a few days back, Modi had revealed that Rhea took all financial decisions on behalf of Sushant.

The ED has even questioned Sushant Singh Rajput's house staffs as both of them were present at the actor’s house on the day he committed suicide. Apart from them, Sushant's talent manager and Rhea's CA were also summoned by the Enforcement Directorate and reportedly their statements have also been recorded.
