Talking to Times Now exclusively about the same, Vinay reportedly said that BMC's move is unfair and unfortunate. He also added that they are denying him of his legal rights to investigate. He stated that he is unable to go to investigate since August 2.

Elaborating more, he added that he is in touch with the

Bihar Government

and they have been exploring all the options. According to him, all this has hampered their investigations.
BMC has sent a letter to Bihar Government refusing to relieve

The Bihar Government has also responded to BMC’s decision by stating that they are moving to court to challenge the BMC’s refusal to let Vinay Tiwari out of the quarantine facility. The report also stated that they might most likely approach the apex court for the same.
Bihar SP Vinay Tiwari was sent to lead their officials in the ongoing investigations on the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput. He was quarantined on Sunday afternoon as soon as he stepped into Mumbai by the BMC officials as per the norms of COVID-19.
