According to the latest update,
Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate Siddharth Pithani has been sent to 14-day judicial custody, in connection with the drugs case. The late actor passed away on June 14, 2020. Three central agencies-
CBI,
NCB
and ED are currently investigating the
death case
. A few days back, NCB arrested the late actor's flatmate Sidharth Pithani in Hyderabad.
He was arrested by the
Narcotics Control Bureau
(NCB) on May 28. He was arrested from Hyderabad and brought to Mumbai on a transit warrant obtained from a local court there. According to the reports, he was booked under multiple sections of the NDPS Act, 1985.

Yesterday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) summoned Sushant Singh Rajput's bodyguard for the second day in a row, in the drug case linked to the late actor's death. NCB even arrested a drug peddler named Harish Khan in the drugs case linked to the actor's death.
On Thursday, Sushant's sister
Meetu Singh
warned fans against funds being raised in the late actor's name, adding that the family does not permit "anything about or related to
SSR
, be it a movie, a book or a merchandise". She took to her Twitter handle and wrote, ''Unfortunately, it has come to our notice that some people are taking advantage of this situation for their own personal benefits which is an unexplainably inhuman act. All these people are required to refrain themselves from doing so.''
She further added, ''We would also like to bring this to everyone's notice that the family has not authorised anyone to raise donations or funds in the name of SSR and no one has the consent to make anything about or related to SSR, be it a movie, a book or a merchandise''.
