A war has been waged at the box office, and this time around, we'll see Bollywood stars go up in arms against Hollywood superheroes. With theatres set to roll up their shutters next month, everyone--from Akshay Kumar to Salman Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Kartik Aaryan have been quick to book their date with the audience. However, these stars will not have their dream solo run at the ticket windows what with Hollywood heavyweights claiming their stake over the big screen. ​Sooryavanshi vs Eternals

There are going to be fireworks at the box office this Diwali with Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan currently eyeing the extended festive release. However, the Bollywood superstars face threat from intergalactic forces with Marvel's 'Eternals' also set to arrive on the same day. Will Akki and Sallu form a tag team of sorts to beat out the Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden and crew, guess we will have to wait to find out.

Bachchan Pandey vs The Batman

Akshay Kumar seems to be in a mood to flex his muscles as he has set up two big clashes at the box office. After battling the 'Eternals' the actor will go up against Robert Pattinson March 4, 2022. The Bollywood star's massy entertainer 'Bachchan Pandey' will lock horns with the Pattinson-lead 'The Batman' that will offer a new spin to the famed DC character.

​Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 vs Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Come March 25, 2022, Kartik Aaryan will see if he can spook off the competition at the box office when he takes on Benedict Cumberbatch. The Bollywood hunk's hugely anticipated horror-comedy will go up against the equally hyped Marvel film 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'.

​Heropanti 2 vs Thor: Love and Thunder

Unlike the others on this list, Tiger Shroff will be going to war with the God of thunder himself, Thor. The actor's action flick 'Heropanti 2' will face stiff competition from Chris Hemsworth's highly anticipated film 'Thor: Love and Thunder'. Both films will battle for box office supremacy on 6 May 2022.
