Shilpa Shetty, Ananya Panday and Sanjay Dutt: A sneak peek into 2021 Ganpati celebration in Bollywood

As the ten-day-long celebrations for Ganesh Chaturthi have started, several Bollywood celebrities took to social media to extend greetings on the auspicious occasion. The stars have been sharing pictures and videos from the festivities at home and we can't get enough of them. The festivities began on September 10 and will conclude on September 21. The festivities will end with the final immersion of the Ganesha idols, the Visarjan. To add more fervour to the celebrations, we have compiled pictures of celebs and their 2021 Ganpati celebrations at home.

'Thalaivii' star Kangana Ranaut paid a visit to her brother Akshit Ranaut's house to celebrate the festival together. She donned a yellow traditional attire and posed with her family. She wrote in her story, 'For Ganpati at my brother's house'. She gave a sneak-peek into the celebration of the festival with her family on Instagram.

Actress Shilpa Shetty kick-started Ganesh Chaturthi with full enthusiasm. On Friday, she took to her Instagram handle to share a few pictures from her Chaturthi celebrations. In the photo, she can be seen feeding ladoos to her kids -- Viaan and Samisha. The trio wore ethnic outfits. Shilpa and her daughter Samisha sported matching pink outfits.

Salman Khan's younger sister Arpita Khan Sharma welcomed Ganpati home. We got to see photos of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza as they visited Arpita's house for the pooja. Arpita's mom Salma Khan was also papped at her residence. Aayush Sharma too posed for the shutterbugs.

'Khaali Peeli' actress Ananya Panday sported a bright yellow salwar suit for the special occasion. She spent the day with family - dad Chunky Panday, mother Bhavana Pandey and younger sister Rysa Pandey. The actress gave us a glimpse of the decor. The post was captioned as, ''welcome home Ganpati Bappa Morya ''.

Like every year, this year too Sanjay Dutt welcomed Lord Ganesha. He celebrated the festival with wifey Maanayata Dutt and kids. Recently, a video of the star went viral on social media. In the video, we can see him performing aarti at his home. He can be seen wearing a white kurta as he performed Ganesh Pooja.

In a recent interaction with Bombay Times, Sonu Sood spoke about how it has been over two decades since he’s been welcoming Ganesha to his Mumbai house. ''During our early years, we were not aware of the kind of rituals we needed to perform as we had only seen Ganpati celebrations in films and Bollywood songs. Slowly, over the years, we learnt it all. It’s been 22 years since we have been bringing Bappa home'', he said.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Tusshar Kapoor shared a series of photos from his Ganesh Chaturthi celebration with his son. He sported a dhoti as he posed with his son Lakshya, who looked cute as a button in a yellow coloured kurta and posed in front of their beautiful Ganapati idol. Sharing these pictures, Tusshar wrote, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. May the Blessings of Lord Ganesha Always be Upon You in the resilience to steer clear of these challenging times!”
