Shah Rukh Khan responds after Suniel Shetty promises to watch first show of 'Dunki'

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to hit the big screen with the highly-anticipated film, 'Dunki'. Now, actor Suniel Shetty shared a note on his social media handle and promised that he would be watching the film's first-day first show.

On December 20, Shetty shared on his official X handle that he would be watching the first ever show of 'Dunki' and wished them luck. The actor wrote, "Shaahhh. Raju Sir. It’s definitely a First Day First Show for me. Can’t wait for the magic of #Dunki to unfold on the big screen. To the entire cast and crew, break a leg! Let the cheers and applause echo through the theatres. @iamsrk @RajkumarHirani @vickykaushal09 @taapsee (sic)."


Shah Rukh Khan, who is busy promoting the film, reacted to Suniel Shetty's post and replied, "Thank u Anna. Love u and I hope u laugh and cry in the theatre with the story that unfolds as always happens with Raju Sir’s films. Big hug (sic)."

During an event in Dubai, Shah Rukh Khan said that after being a part of 'Pathan' and 'Jawan', the actor realised that he had not made a film for himself. So, he made 'Dunki'. This is his film. This film is close to his heart. He made a film 'Pathaan' for the girls and he wanted to end the year with a film for him. So, he did the film.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Dunki' stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover and Jyoti Subash. The film is jointly written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani and Kanika Dhillon.
