Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, was rushed to hospital on Thursday morning after being repeatedly stabbed during an apparent burglary at his Bandra residence. Khan was hospitalised and rushed for surgery after a scuffle with the intruder left him with 6 wounds to his arm, chest and spine. The actor was declared 'out of danger' and put under observation after a 2.5-hour surgery early this morning. In an official statement, Khan's reps confirmed, "There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan's residence" and urged fans to remain patient while allowing the police to conduct their investigations. Kareena Kapoor and her two sons, Taimur and Jeh, were unharmed. Mumbai Police have launched a detailed investigation into the alleged break-in and are investigating all possible angles.

Superstar Salman Khan has faced multiple alarming incidents, including a threat to his life over the past month. During the shoot of his film 'Sikandar', it was reported that an unauthorised individual entered the set and made a cryptic remark referencing the Bishnoi gang, causing immediate concern among security personnel who immediately called the police. On further interrogation by the police, the man reportedly confessed that he was just a fan who wanted to watch the actor shooting his film. In March 2023, two men from Gujarat breached Shah Rukh Khan's high Mannat walls and made their way into the actor's home and hid inside his makeup room for nearly eight hours. The intruders reportedly entered the premises at 3 am and were only discovered by security at 10:30 am the next morning. They were later handed over to the police, who charged them with trespassing.
