FIVE times Rashmika Mandanna gave bold and interesting statements

South sensation Rashmika Mandanna is all set to make her way into Bollywood. While she is already in the news for her stellar line-up of films, there have been times when she has grabbed attention for her interesting comments on things. From giving it back to a troll who called her a prostitute to calling Yash a showoff, we take a look at the times she made headlines for her bold and interesting statements.

In 2017, Rashmika was asked in an interview as to who according to her is a big showoff in the Kannada film industry. Although the actress was hesitant to answer this question, owing to its controversial nature, she later gave in and took her ‘Kirik Party’ co-star Yash’s name.

Soon after this, she received a backlash on social media from Yash’s fans. Rashmika had to post an open letter where she explained to them how she didn’t intend to disrespect the actor. According to her, she has always admired Yash’s work and that he has been an inspiration to many including herself. She also asked people to leave this bitter episode behind and look forward to better things.

Rashmika commands a huge fan following across the nation, especially on social media. While there is an army of her fans who stands up for her and supports her, she also has people who mercilessly troll her for various things. Although she resists reacting to each troll, she once took on one.

A troll compiled childhood pictures of the actress and wrote, ‘Who knew this little girl here would be an International dagar in the future’. Giving it back to the troll, Rashmika asked what they are getting out of this. She also added that being a public figure doesn’t mean they can target them ruthlessly. She concluded her note by saying, “Congratulations whoever did this. You’ve managed to hurt me, didn’t think of you were capable of doing that but what’s to follow is on you.”

Rashmika Mandanna is rightly called the ‘National Crush’. While there are many out there who have some major crush on the actress, she has her heart set on someone else. In a throwback interview with a news portal, when asked if she has a crush on any actor, the actress revealed that since her childhood days, she has always loved Vijay Thalapathy. Now, that’s one helluva revelation. We hope Vijay is reading this!

Rashmika Mandanna, who made her acting debut in the Kannada film, ‘Kirik Party’ co-starring Yash, says she realised that acting is a responsible job after her first film.

According to her, when people give you so much love, you have to give that love back by choosing good and entertaining films.

Talking about making her way into Bollywood, the actress said that she wants to experiment and see how Bollywood works. She stated that she is like a curious cat who needs to know everything.

Rashmika Mandanna got engaged to actor Rakshit Shetty in 2017. However, the couple later called off their engagement for reasons best known to them. Ever since then, Rashmika has been linked to a lot of her co-stars.

Lending clarification on the same to her fans she wrote on one of her social media handles, “This is for all those who keep putting my name with everyone I know.. I am single.. and I love it.. this is also me telling all those who crib about being single.. trust me when you start having fun being single your standards for your lover keep getting high.”
