Ravi Kishan shares his experience working with Madhuri Dixit: 'Never seen her throw any tantrums'
As 'Maa Behen' gears up for release, Ravi Kishan has offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse into what it is like to share screen space with screen legend, Madhuri Dixit. According to the star, his experience left him both nervous and in awe of the actress. In a recent interaction, he admitted that several of his scenes with Madhuri were emotionally intense and that he had never played a role quite like this before. He also noted that Madhuri's character in 'Maa Behen' is unlike anything she has done on screen previously.
He recalled, "The entire city came to a standstill that day. People were climbing trees and walls just to get a glimpse of her. Young girls and the Gen Z crowd were ready to jump in excitement. I was anxious about her security and comfort, but it didn't bother her at all. She was completely unfazed and smiling calmly."
Directed by Suresh Triveni, Maa Behen stars Madhuri Dixit alongside Triptii Dimri, Dharna Durga, Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Arunoday Singh. The film streams on Netflix.
Ravi Kishan talks about Madhuri Dixit's calm nature on set
Speaking to NDTV, Ravi Kishan talked about Madhuri Dixit's unshakeable calm on set. He shared, "Madhuri ma'am has no problems in life. Whether it is raining or muddy, I have never seen her throw any tantrums. It doesn't matter if it's raining too much or too little; she is peacefully happy. If the lights go out, she is happy. If we are waiting because Ravi Kishan is arriving a little late, she is still happy. Even if I say an extra line during rehearsals, she has absolutely no problem. She just smiles. She has built a beautiful world of her own. She lives in that world and stays absorbed in it. Even if there is a storm or a fire, she listens to everything and just says, 'Oh yeah, yeah,' and smiles."Ravi Kishan shares how Madhur Dixit was unbothered by a massive crowd
In the same interview, Ravi Kishan also recounted a striking incident from a jewellery store inauguration in Gorakhpur, where both he and Madhuri were present as brand ambassadors. The event drew enormous crowds of fans, leaving Ravi visibly anxious, but not Madhuri.
